Sorry, I haven't been active with my blog and my YouTube channel. I feel each day went by so fast I have no time to do all the things I wanted to do. With all my free time this summer, I'm working with my mom on our new Pretty Bloom hair pieces for our second photo shoot coming this fall. Our new hair accessories collection, included one of a kind bridal couture veil, beautiful hair fascinators, headbands, flower hair clip/pin, and more.

Every year, I tried my best to improve myself as well as upgrading my beauty services to my clients! She is very smart and talented!!while in school, i'm always always procrastinate on my major assignments she was always there sharing her brain with me lol...I dont see her often but she knows all my problems and deep feelings! 99% she will say no to alcohol, but starbucks is where we have our long conversations...

My CHILDHOOD friend, we called each other cousin. Were suppose to be cousin but God decided that it's best that were not. She doesn't know that i hate going shopping with her! because, she always walked ahead of me. The same applied to our lives, she went though the bitters and sweets of life ahead of me. She was there during the worst time of my life, she protected me from the devil who almost took my future away !!....

Wedding season is coming to an end, I'm looking forward to meet new brides to be, and looking forward to plan my own wedding, someday next year! I'm so excited;) The year 2011 is going to be another crazy busy and exciting year.

I went to Canada Bridal Show at Metro Toronto Convention Centre last weekend. I had so much fun watching the pre-bridal fashion show, the mc guy was so funny. Their was five couples competing to win a free diamond ring at the show, the funnest part is when the guys doing the cat walk in high hills. If you missed the Fall bridal show, you can always go to the Winter Bridal Show in January 7th,8th, and 9th, 2011. You will find everything you need for your wedding. I purchased two pair of shoes at the show, from Woodbridge Bridal Shoe Shop for such an amazing deal! here is how one of it looks like ;) in size 5.

Last night i went over all my favorite vendors from the show, I came accross this wedding video from Romantic Memories and I was surprise to see myself in one of my client wedding video. ;) check it out. I did her hair and makeup.

This year i started a hair accessories company, with my best friend Annie Cheng. Hello everyone,

Sorry, i haven't updated my blog in awhile. I'm so sad the weather is getting cold now and my tan from Cuba is slowly fading away. I look back at my summer i cant remember doing anything beside work work work!!! I went to Cuba for a week that is all i can remember.

I miss Cuba but i'm really glad to be back with my family,clients, and friends. After, i got back from Cuba i was over loaded with work. I went to four weddings this month, every year September is the most popular time of the year for wedding. I really should waited till October to go to Cuba!!!!

I recently did another lashes procedure for a beautiful birthday girl -Jennifer Ho ;) I think XtremeLashes-lash extentions is the best birthday present she can give to herself this year.

I'm just really happy she came to me to get it done. I enjoy doing lash extensions because i love the smile on my clients' face, the moment they open their eyes.

The procedure is relaxing and peaceful for me and my clients. It's such a great change for me from standing all day doing hair and make up, to sitting down on a chair, in a quite and peaceful room. Her dress was still at the seamstress when she came to us. Sveteana provide us with the fabric, and described her dress material as silk, in gold colour, with purple belt above the waist, and purple lace straps.

We made a full bloom flower, blooming perfectly on the purple silk belt. We added a special finish to her beautiful dress with love and care. This flower is one beautiful memory to us, as well as our client.

I love having May in my chair because she is never afraid of changes, everytime i ask her what she wants she always say " i trust you" lol I remember the last time she said " i trust you" i turned her into a blonde chick. May looks hot in blonde, a pretty and confident girl like May cant go wrong in blonde.

A few weeks ago when she came to get her roots touch up. She told me she is going to a special girly event, called The Firty Girl Fitness Pink Soriee . The event theme was pink so she needed something pink to go with her sexy black dress and pretty dark purple nails polish that she had on that day. PrettyBloom created a unique one of a kind headband for May.

I designed this cute and firty headband for May to attend the Firty Girl Fitness Pink Soriess.The big purple bow is just so cute with her purple nails, the black russian netting is just firty and sexy covering a corner of May smoky eyes. The theme is pink so i finished this unique headband with a beautiful hot pink crystal in the center of the bow, to give a special spark to the whole look.

WOW TV segment

Hi everyone!

About two weeks ago I did a live televised segment on WOW TV as a beauty guest. I demonstrated an easy to do hairstyle that can easily be done by viewers at home. I had a really great time being apart of the show.

For those of you who don't know, WOW TV is a Asian specialty channel which is available exclusively through Rogers cable only. Programming on that channel are mostly in Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese.

Just to let you guys know, I'm going to be on WOW TV again Wednesday, January 20th @11am (channel 808 if you have Rogers. This channel is only $3.99/month to order).

I am working on posting some video clips of the segments online when I receive them. :)

Hey Everyone! Just to let you guys know my site has some new updates.

New photos were added to the bridal section from some of my summer weddings. I also included my CV of all my work which can be found under my profile. A new FAQ for brides can be found under services, also for brides a new trial checklist can be downloaded on the main page or on the services page.This can should be handy for the brides.

Some new photos were added to my portfolio section. It is a great shoot I did with photographer Mathew Wilson and nail artist Judy of Keekos. There are lots and lots more photos to be added from various photo shoots soon enough.

A new television series I worked on for HBO last year called Lingerie will be premiering on HBO in the U.S. only January 28th 2010. If you have satellite t.v. you might be able to catch it. It isn't for kids, hence the name! Expect it to be very sexual and provocative.

Last wedding season between May up until November 2009 it was a very hectic but exciting time for me and my clients.

Planning your wedding can be a stressful time. I'd like to take the stress out of looking for a hair and make-up artist for you.

I really enjoyed working with all my brides last summer, and their bridal party. Working doesn't get more rewarding than preparing someone for such an important day of their life.

Every bride I have worked with has been unique and very different in style. I have worked with brides who have made their own hair accessories, some who rock the vintage 40's look, some who love simple elegance, and some who love the classic bridal look.

I work with all of my clients to create a look that is best for them. If you can't decide what you like or what you think is best for you, that's okay. I am here to work with you to discuss styles, themes and a solution.

A Trial
After you book a date and time for your hair and make-up we can set a date and time for your trial. A trial is highly recommended, this is when we discuss styles and looks for your wedding. I will create one to two looks for you during the trial and you will know how you will on the big day.

Book Early
Summer months between June to the end of September are the height of wedding season. Only 4 weekends each month. I suggest booking early to ensure that you can receive the date and time you desire.

What you can expect from me
I am always professional and good listener. Organization and punctuality are one of my top priorities. I have been a professional hairstylist for over 5 years working in salons to freelancing. I am also a certified make-up artist from Seneca College.

Jenny is one of my SSS's client aka Seriously,sweet, and sexy! She has been my client for about two years. I've seen her as a black, blonde, brown, copper hair chick but, I have never seen her as a tea cup hehehe. She looks super cute!

I received a text message from Jenny a few days before Halloween, asking if I could do her boyfriend's makeup for Halloween. Right away, I had a big smile on my face. As I replied to her. I was super excited because he is my first client ever for special effect make-up. I have never met anyone who loves Halloween as much as Paul. After I did Paul's make-up I can't wait till next Halloween to transform more faces.

I have a few clients been asking me about this new hair product called Mocarran oil. So, I went out and I bought a small bottle just to try it out ,and here is what I have to say about it. I have been using it for a week now I like it, but I‘m not crazy about it. I only applied a small amount of Moraccan oil on my damp hair, mostly on the ends. Right away, I can feel my hair is really smooth and easy to comb out, and when my hair is dried, it gave my hair lots of shine. However, I notice my hair get oily faster then usual, partly because I kept touching my hair and partly because it’s an heavy oil base product. If your hair is dry/damage or colour treated hair and you want a product that will give you an instant results. A small bottle of Morcarranoil is only $12.99. You can get it online or at your nearest beauty supplies store.

My ANGEL AMANDA NUNES

Two years ago on Oct 21st, 2007 My earth angel *Amanda Nunes* joined God in heaven. I cant believe two years had gone by already! I'm sitting here thinking of all the wonderful memories I have of Amanda. I wish I have the power to bring her back even though I know that is selfish of me, when I accepted she is in a much better place. I didn't believe in angels but after I met Amanda I know angel's do exist!

Living a life is hard but there was nothing harder than watching God take Amanda away. I don't know why God wanted me to witnessed something so heart and mind breaking??!!!

In the past six years of my career as a hairstylist, I participated in either hair competitions or I put together a hair photo shoot of my work but since God took Amanda away I have no desires or motivations. I don't think about it anymore.The last hair photo shoot I did was with Amanda. I can still remember how excited she was when I asked her to be my hair model and to pose as an Angel!

I met Amanda in a hair salon at Square One mall where I use to work. No one supported me or appreciated my passion or my work. When, I first met Amanda I knew she was someone really special! She had very beautiful hair, beautiful face, beautiful voice, and a very special hug! At that time, I was going through a very rough time with my personal life and my career, but within one hour when I finished with Amanda's hair cut, she made me feel better!

I was so comfortable with Amanda she was a special gift to me that made my life better. As I cut her hair, I showed her pictures of my work. No one has ever appreciated my work the way she did. No one knew how I felt, no one supported me, no one really believed in me the way she did.

Amanda was my inspiration. After I met Amanda for the first time I thought of her as the angel which inspired me to use angels as the theme for my hair photo shoot. After a month of planning for the photo shoot God took Amanda away suddenly......it made this world so ugly!

Pink Bedroom Party 2009: Party To End Cancer

On October 1st my talented partner Tia Thach and I dedicated our time and talents to The 6th Pink Bedroom Party, a charity event that raise funds for Princess Margaret Hospital's Campbell Family Institute & Sick Kid, hosted by Jeanne Lottie. We had about two hours to do 5 geisha's hairstyles. It was a challege for me because i have never done a geisha's hairstyle before ;) i was amazed that i was able to did it so well ;)

Keeko's Nails & Spa Open House

I have been working really hard this whole summer getting my nails done at Keeko's Nail & Spa was so relaxing and fun. Judy's-owner of Keeko's studio did an amazing job on my french manicure and pedicure. I absolutely LOVE IT! I feel so pretty and girly :)I CANT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!

I did the models' hair for Blink Magazine on September 6th, 2009 but I wasn't able to share it with anyone until the Silk Road Gala event is over. The gala was on October 3rd, 2009 at the Ontario Science Center, Presented by Taste of Asia and NAAP Toronto. It was an honor to be invited to the gala but I wasnt able to go ;( but hopefully I will next year. I love doing photo shoot but I hate waiting to see the results. ;) The best thing about doing any photo shoot is when I see great images! It was a pleasure working with the group of talented people listed below: THANK YOU!

WOW TV segment

About two weeks ago I did a live televised segment on WOW TV as a beauty guest. I demonstrated an easy to do hairstyle that can easily be done by viewers at home. I had a really great time being apart of the show.

For those of you who don't know, WOW TV is a Asian specialty channel which is available exclusively through Rogers cable only. Programming on that channel are mostly in Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese.

Just to let you guys know, I'm going to be on WOW TV again Wednesday, January 20th @11am (channel 808 if you have Rogers. This channel is only $3.99/month to order).

I am working on posting some video clips of the segments online when I receive them. :)
